RECIPE NOTES

These Galaxy Swirl Marble Cakes are inspired by the mysteries of the cosmos and made even more memorable when baked in a Star Trek Collection Mini Cocotte. Each individual cake begins with a rich, chocolate brownie base that is then topped with a creamy cheesecake layer. Whether you're serving them in the Gorn, Balok or Talosian Mini Cocotte, these individually baked treats are a fun and delicious tribute to the iconic Star Trek universe.

Recipe provided by Abby Harris-Shea

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease or butter the mini cocottes.

Make the brownie base: add chopped chocolate to a large bowl. Melt the butter and pour it over the chocolate, stirring until the chocolate becomes glossy and smooth. Whisk in the sugar, eggs and vanilla until fully combined.

Fold in the flour, cocoa powder and salt until no dry streaks remain. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared cocottes.

Make the cheesecake layer: In a stand mixer or using a hand mixer, whisk the softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract and egg until combined. Spoon 2 small scoops of cheesecake batter over the brownie layer. Take a toothpick or knife and create swirls throughout the batter.

Bake for 30 minutes or until the edges are set and the center is mostly set but still slightly soft. You’ll know it’s done when an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
