Crafted from our legendary enameled cast iron, the Signature Round Wide Oven has exceptional heat distribution and retention qualities to lock in flavor and keep dishes warm or cold at the table. The light-colored interior enamel has a smooth finish to promote caramelization, and allows easy monitoring of the cooking progress. Easy to clean and dishwasher-safe, the enameled surface minimizes sticking and staining, requires no pre-seasoning, and is easy-to-clean.

Wide Surface Area for Cooking
This purpose-built shape also has a wide surface area similar to a fry or sauté pan for searing and browning meat and vegetables without crowding. This means you can get a perfect golden-brown sear on meat, and then use the fond on the bottom of the pan to make a delicious sauce right in the same pan. Or transfer the pot to the oven with the lid on to slow braise – the lid is designed to circulate steam and return moisture back to the food. Or use it without the lid to roast meat and vegetables to tender, juicy perfection.

With straight sides and medium depth, the Signature Round Wide Oven is deeper than a Braiser but not as deep as our best-selling Round Dutch Oven, making it an excellent addition to your Le Creuset collection.
