Each purpose-built design features thoughtful details, such as a stay-cool ergonomic handle design for a comfortable grip that minimizes heat transfer and a convenient hole for hanging on pot racks. The reinforced rim and fully encapsulated stainless steel base prevent warping over time, and ensures compatibility with all stovetops including induction.

Easy Care and Use
Lightweight and easy to use, the ceramic surface of Essential Non-stick Ceramic cookware is non-reactive and highly resistant to scratching and staining. This makes it safe for gentle use with metal utensils, although wood or silicone tools are recommended as well. The high heat resistance of ceramic makes them oven-safe up to 550°F, or up to 425°F if using a Le Creuset tempered glass lid. Even easier to clean, the pans are dishwasher-safe, but hand washing is recommended to prolong the non-stick performance.

What Can I Cook with Essential Non-stick Ceramic?
With excellent non-stick, searing and browning properties (with or without the use of oil or butter), Essential Non-stick Ceramic is perfect for searing delicate fish, making sauces, boiling liquids, turning out flawless omelets, tossing stir-fries, and more. Note that the heavy-gauge aluminum core and ceramic coating are very good conductors of heat, so low to medium heat settings should be used for most cooking. For searing or stir-frying, a medium to medium-high heat setting may be used initially for about 2-5 minutes, but once food is added to the pan the heat should be lowered.
Getting Started with Essential Non-stick Ceramic
Essential Non-stick Ceramic cookware is designed to be easy to use right out of the box. Here are just a few tips from our experts to ensure success in the kitchen:
- Before first use, remove all packaging, clips, labels and stickers. Wash the pan with warm soapy water, and then rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Condition the interior non-stick surface by rubbing a film of vegetable or canola oil over the entire cooking surface with a paper towel and then wipe off the oil. Do not condition the exterior. Occasional reconditioning will help protect the surface and promote longer life.
- Add a little oil or butter to cover the bottom of the pan if desired and preheat on medium heat until the oil is shimmering but not smoking. Always allow the product to heat and cool gradually.
- Do not use an aerosol non-stick cooking spray as it can damage the non-stick coating on the cookware.
- For oil-free cooking, preheat the pan on medium heat for approximately two minutes before adding food. Stay close by so you can be sure the pan doesn’t get too hot.
- To clean, simply use a soft non-abrasive sponge to wash with warm water and mild soap. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Do not use metal cleaning pads or abrasive cleaners.
- For stubborn food residue, fill the product with warm soapy water and let soak for 15 to 20 minutes before washing.
- For storing, use Cookware Protectors when stacking pans to help prevent scratches.
