Spicy Grilled Salmon
Created for the Signature 10 1/4" Round Skillet GrillIngredients
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets, skin on
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Preheat oven to 375F.
In a small bowl, combine salt, chili powder and cumin. Rub salmon fillets with the spice mixture, making sure to evenly coat the tops and sides.
Heat olive oil over medium-high heat in the Skillet Grill. Place salmon in the skillet, skin side up. Cook 3 minutes or until top is evenly browned. Flip and cook an additional 3 minutes for medium-rare. Place skillet in the oven and cook an additional few minutes for medium to well-done.
If desired, serve on a bed of mache or other greens with lemon wedges. Drizzle with lemon juice and olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
