The reviewer who thought something was wrong with the recipe and recommended adding more flour and adding baking powder does not understand what a claflouti is. She said it was too eggy -- but it's supposed to be that way as it is a custard. This recipe is similar to ones by Ina Garten and Julia Child. The traditional French way is with cherries. But this recipe works with other fruit.

    This has potential of being delicious, but I'm sad that I used an entire container of my fresh blueberries to make this dish as the recipe calls for. I added a little more flower, just because the batter seemed too soupy. I wish I had added some baking powder too, but I had faith that the recipe wasn't completely bogus. This dish baked up unevenly, and tastes wayyyyy too eggy. You need to use less eggs, add baking powder, and maybe 1/4- 1/2 more cups of flour.
