      This is my favorite pan! I use it for virtually all cooking. I love that it has as much surface as a frying pan. We also use it on our gas grill for boneless skinless chicken breasts. The slow, even heating of the porcelain covered cast iron and wide surface area are great!

      Fait Tout

      A fait tout is a versatile pan in any kitchen. From the French for “does everything,” this pan can simmer sauces, braise meats or saute vegetables.

      The fait tout combines the best of a saute pan and frying pan. Sloping sides provide more surface area for evaporating liquids, while still providing ample contact with the heat source. The sides are just high enough to be used in place of a low saucepan, and the lid minimizes evaporation when simmering or braising.
