Make It at Home: Roasted Oysters
Roasted Oysters
  • Ingredients
  • For Each Oyster:
  • 1/8 teaspoon butter
  • Dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • Dash of lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon grated Singing Brook or parmesan cheese
  • 1/8 teaspoon fresh parsley
  • Salt and pickling spice mix

Shuck oysters, leaving each oyster in one side of the shell. Once shucked, place butter, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and cheese on each oyster. Place them on a bed of salt with pickling spice mixed in (do not eat the salt). Roast in a 450°F preheated oven until the cheese and butter melt. Remove, finish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
