Bourbon Lemonade
Recipe from Brandon Peck of The Roosevelt in Richmond, VA

1 1/2 oz Bulleit Bourbon Whiskey
2 oz Basil Brown Sugar Lemonade (recipe to follow)
Serve over crushed ice. Top with soda water for a little fizz.


Basil Brown Sugar Lemonade

1 cup brown sugar
1 cup water
1 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
3-4 cups ice water
20 crushed basil leaves

Mix brown sugar and water until brown sugar has dissolved. Add lemon juice. Dilute with ice water. Stir in basil leaves.

Stir well and serve. Recipe makes about 16 drinks.
