Balsamic Peppercorn Steak

Created for the Signature 10 1/4" Round Skillet Grill


  • 1 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 (16-ounce) porterhouse steaks
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil


To make the marinade, combine balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper and garlic. Place the steaks in a plastic bag and cover with the marinade. Refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour, or overnight.

Preheat oven to 375F. Heat olive oil in the Skillet Grill over medium-high heat. Sear steaks for several minutes on each side, until evenly browned. Place the Skillet Grill in the oven and cook steaks an additional 15 minutes for medium-rare, or longer for desired doneness.
